    Native-American 2 Organizations
Our main organization is AIM (American Indian Movement). This movement was founded in 1968 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by Dennis Banks, George Mitchell, Herb Powless, Clyde Bellecourt, Harold Goodsky, Eddie Benton-Banai, and many others. They made this organization to address various issues that were concerning us in our urban community. We have much poverty, the housing is terrible and the police always harass us. Although AIM is our main organization we have many others available. We have WARN (Women of All Red Nations), NATIVE )Native American Liberation) and many more have helped our movement.

    Native-American 2 Cause
Together we were a new generation of leaders. We are devoting ourselves to protecting the remaining amount of our tribal lands and recover what was taken illegally from us. We became more aggressive in pressing self determination among native American's to establish international recognition of our treaty rights. Our members of AIM briefly took over the headquarters of the bureau of Indian affairs in Washington DC which was among our demands was a review of more than 300 treaties between the Native Americans and the federal government that AIM alleged were broken.
